Terms and Conditions

  1. The Promotion is called “2019 Car Loan QBE Insurance Promotion”. Information on how to participate in the Promotion forms part of these terms and conditions of eligibility. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of eligibility.
  2. The Promoter is Unity Bank Limited ABN 11 087 650 315 | AFSL/Australian Credit Licence 240399. Reliance Bank and Bankstown City Unity Bank (BCUB) are divisions of Unity Bank Limited.
  3. QBE insurance policies are issued by QBE Insurance (Australia) Limited. ABN 78 003 191 035, AFS Licence 239545.
  4. The Promotion Period commences 9:00 am AEST on 3 June 2019 and closes at 5.00 pm AEST on 15 August 2019 (“Promotional Period”).
  5. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

Eligible Car Loan Products

  1. Eligible Unity Bank, Reliance Bank, BCUB car loan products for this promotion are (excluding all packaged Car Loans):
    a. Car Loan Variable Age of vehicle up to 3 years
    b. Car Loan Fixed Age of vehicle up to 3 years
    c. Car Loan Variable Greater than 3 years, up to 7 years
    d. Car Loan Fixed Greater than 3 years, up to 7 years
  2. An eligible Car Loan must be applied for during the Promotional Period.
  3. Minimum loan amount is $10,000 with a minimum loan term of one (1) year.
  4. Car Loan terms, conditions, fees, interest, charges and lending criteria apply and are available at the time of application.

Eligible Car Loan Product Offer - $100 Fuel Gift Card

  1. To receive a $100 Fuel Gift Card, the Member must take out an Eligible Unity Bank, Reliance Bank, BCUB Car Loan Between the promotional period.
  2. The Member is entitled to receive a maximum of one (1) $100 Fuel Gift Card per Eligible Car Loan.

QBE Eligible Policy

  1. The Eligible QBE Policy for this promotion is Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance, excluding Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance.
  2. An Eligible QBE Policy must be purchased during the Promotional Period.
  3. This promotion does not apply to the renewal of any current QBE policies.
  4. The purchase and payment of a new QBE Eligible Policy is deemed to occur when the Member agrees to become bound by the terms of the relevant Eligible Policy, the Member pays for the Eligible Policy during the Promotion Period, and the Eligible Policy remains active after a 21 day cooling off period.
  5. An agreement by a policyholder to enter a periodic instalment plan for an Eligible Policy is deemed to be payment of that product.

QBE Insurance Offer – $200 Fuel Gift Card

  1. This offer only applies if the Member has taken out a Unity Bank, Reliance Bank or BCUB Eligible Car Loan Product and Insures the same vehicle secured to the Eligible Car Loan by purchasing a new QBE Eligible Policy sold by Unity Bank, Reliance Bank or BCUB during the promotional period. 
  2. The Member is entitled to receive a maximum of one (1) $200 Fuel Gift Card per Eligible Car Loan and Eligible QBE policy sold.

Fuel Gift Cards

  1. Fuel Gift Cards are issued by Coles Express, full terms and conditions of Coles Express Fuel Card are available at www.giftcards.com.au/Gift-Card-Terms-of-Use.aspx.
  2. Eligible Members will be notified in writing and their Fuel Gift Card mailed to them within 4 weeks from approval and funding of an eligible Car Loan product or receipt of the first premium instalment.
  3. Fuel Gift Cards are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Any element of any Fuel Gift Card that is unused or the Member is unable to accept for any reason will be forfeited and no compensation will be paid in lieu of that element, whether a part or the whole, of the Fuel Gift Card.
  4. The Promoter is not responsible for any variation in the value of the Fuel Gift Card between the commencement of the Promotion Period and the date of redemption.
  5. The Promoter is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any communications network or data storage device or any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, ineligible, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entry whether due to error, interruption to electricity supply or transmission of data, or otherwise.
  6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any lost or misdirected mail.

General

  1. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, or is interfered with or disrupted in any way, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.
  2. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for: (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise; (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of such communications; or (iii) any delay in delivery (when not directly caused by the Promoter or its supplier), or failure of safe delivery of a prize.
  3. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with redeeming the voucher, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  4. The determination of valid participation is at the sole and exclusive discretion of the Promoter.
  5. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. Entry details, including personal information provided by Members, remain the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects Members’ personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and provide its services. It is a condition of this Promotion that this information is provided. By entering the Promotion, the Member agrees that the Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the Member.
